He will be in Croatian national team for WC second round qualifiers vs Greece

Media reported that he will compete for left wing spot but I highly doubt it since that is position where Perisic plays. I expect him at right wing, maybe behind forward in 4-2-3-1 but definitely not in midfield where he played last match for Everton.Which position would he play ?
Youngest player in the squad. Well done Vlas.
Very interesting quote this, explains how he's developed the confidence to touch the ball around defenders and have a go at them - he's finding it easier to get past them. 100% the kind of player we need in the team right now.Difference between PL and Croatian league
-In Hajduk we were the ones who were attacking most of the time. In Everton it's opposite. It's harder to play that way, players here move so much in offense, it's hard to stay close to them.
It is easier for me to play in offense here since defenders always attack you directly so it is easier to dribble around them. In Croatia, defender would wait for you to come closer, and there were always two men waiting for you if you went past the first one.
Thats why it is easier in PL to dribble past two or more defenders.
Thanks, appreciate itNiksi gave another interview for Croatian media, mostly talking about his first call for national team in official match (he played in friendly) but he was asked about Everton too.
You have adopted quickly, getting into starting eleven and showed some really good football?
-I'm thrilled. Luckly, we have more matches here so I've got a chance to show myself to manager and convinced him to give me a chence in PL.
In Everton young players get a chance, there are many of us, Lookman, Holgate, Davies... I hope we will stay together for longer period.
Everything is great but it's hard because results are not good, and it is harder to keep playing good in that situation. It is the reason why players lose confidence, fear comes into our minds and you can see that on the court. You can see on training how good these players are. You can't take ball away from them.
Media and teammates recognize you as one of the few bright spots this season
-My teammates also tell me that they can't believe how I can handle them since I came from Croatian league. But, it is not good situation here. In Hajduk, manager would be sacked long time ago, but it is harder to do that here since manager organised whole system. I'm sorry because of Koeman. He bring me here, gave me a chance to play. You could see that he is sad, but he was aware that this could happen.

Tempo in PL
-I've got my first start vs Burnley. I thought "Now I will show you". I went hard from the start and was bit euphoric. I've played well first 20 minutes - half hour, but after that I couldn't breathe. Now I split strenght and play for 90 minutes without any trouble.
Here the players are much faster and stronger, but intensity is stronger at training too. You think that stars will go easy on training, but Gilfy, Rooney, they all go 100%.
He was also talking about life in Liverpool, his father is with him, sister also came, he is used to food, climate and everything but he misses sun.![]()
