I wasn't going the match anyway but I think I have some kind of stomach bug, I threw up last night, so will be remotely cheering Everton on.

Goodison's been pretty quiet the last few times I've been, in 2015 and 2016. We were absolute gash when I watched us back in the 90s and Goodison was much louder. Much more singing. Whether that was due to the FA Cup being relatively recent, I don't know.

Come on lads let's get behind the boys from the moment they get off the bus! Show them how much we love them and what it means to us! COME ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A good atmosphere isn't going to make up for the fact that we never replaced Lukaku. Sure it can unsettle the opposition
Respect your opinion usually Eggs but for me this is BS.

As someone who played it surprises me even more.

When I played we 100% fed off the crowd energy.

Works both ways though mate. The fans have already committed by paying a fair whack to get in the door, we are a reactive crowd who feed off what happens on the pitch you can see that right now.

If you want an atmosphere for the sake of one you are going to need to watch the Bundesliga.

So you think being abusive at players is productive?

That sounds exactly like a Donald Trump supporter trying to defend him.

Huh? You been sniffing glue?

If you expect our fans to cheer and clap our side looking like a bunch of clueless strangers I don't know what to tell you. Yes abusing the players is bang out of order but then so have some of the performances this season.

..again I thought the crowd were good. It emptied out before the end but I think the fans have been patient given what’s served up. I’ve never been a singer but I imagine it’s hard if your not seeing much on the pitch.
