Boxing

Joshua could be fighting anyone of us and Sky would still have it on PPV.

Have they announced the full under card yet? Seen Whyte is fighting for the silver wbc title. Miles behind on anything Boxing related. Only seen the Groves fight from the weekend. Got a lot of catching up to do.
yeah whyte helanius is on, not sure about the rest, it's not really good for AJ either

Anthony Joshua 'fight of my life' very decent easy watch so far on bbc1 here.
Still wish he'd lost like to make me some dosh, but sound enough lad.

I like AJ, but I won't be tuning in to see him slap around a 37 year old lump of lard who's already lost three times.

As much as I can't stand Tyson Fury, I hope he gets well again and makes a comeback. The heavyweight division would be much more interesting then.

AJ isn't going to become an all-time-great by beating guys like Takam.

Pulev was the mandatory and only had one defeat to Wlad so was a pretty decent opponent . I agree Takam isn’t much of an opponent , I’m going I certainly wanted to see better , but at the last minute they done well To get something on. Over the years I’ve lost money on flights , trains and hotels when they don’t have a back up opponent so I’m glad it’s going ahead .

I agree with you on fury , he’d be interesting to say the least and has been criminally underrated but even if he comes back it’s going to take a little time for him to find his timing and fitness.

I don’t think Parker would present and issue for Joshua but at this minute I still think wilder would which is why I think that fight hasn’t happened yet. AJ is still learning as the Klitschko fight showed.

I actually agree with Barton, there should be more big fights on free TV, especially when it's British guys fighting each other

ITV missed a trick over the passed few weeks.

Groves and Eubank put on 2 brilliant fights, albeitt shortlived, but both were hid away on ITV Box Office.

Now imagine if those 2 fights were on ITV, not only would they of got one over on on Sky/Matchroom/Hearn the night of the Crolla Burns fight, could you imagine the interest those fights would of built up for the Groves Eubank fight that they could put on Box Office and not have many complaints about?

Spot on.
I'd have watched the two fights, but no way pay for them.
The Mayweather money came out of accounts this month too, so fans trying to keep telly bills down.

Amazes me how many of these pundits etc. don't understand what a 'promo' is - that's all the Eubanks do; they pull WWE-style promos. Joey Barton, by reacting in that way, is a 'mark'.
