This didn't endear me to Leon, nothing bad can be said about Tim Cahill in my opinion, and its not Osman's place to decide, sit back down lad.

It's the 33-year-old's comments on Tim Cahill that have been the biggest topic of conversation among supporters, though, with Osman describing his surprise when the Australian appeared on the pitch for the send-off of Moyes and Phil Neville in May last year.

Evertonians had been denied the opportunity to say goodbye to the Australian fan favourite before he signed for New York Red Bull the previous July but he flew in for the duo's guard of honour and joined them on the Goodison turf for the celebrations.

"Our manager who has been there for 11 years (came out on to the pitch after Phil Neville who was retiring)," Osman writes. "That should have been it but who comes on the pitch last? Tim Cahill! I just couldn't believe it. It was incredible.

"Tim should have declined the offer in my opinion. He'd been unbelievable for Everton, one of the best signings ever, but that was Nev and Moyesy's moment and not his."

Cahill deserved to come on the pitch... Moyes the SNAKE and Neville the ULTIMATE GRASS did not.

That little gaggle of beauts, moyes, neville, osman, hibbert and you know what to some extent jags as well, they happily built that glass ceiling above themselves and had little intention of breaking it, a nice little niche built for themselves, with plenty of pats on the head from the media, them and their attitude have needed extracting from the club. I give moyes credit for doing some really good work, and jags for being a good player back in the day, but along with that whopper kenwright they needed a bit more about them

Also Cahill is a dude and Ossie just sounds jealous. Cahill still loves us and his kid's in our academy and everything. Aussie > Ossie.

Cahill the only one deserved to be on the pitch. Imagine giving a guard of honour to a no mark manager jumping ship to the mancs. Laughable really.
