2 caps together in one squad, never called up again after the manager had a look at him, and saw the negitive impact his grassing had on morale, dreadful player

..not sure that was the case, I thought his caps were a little apart but I suspect your memory is better than mine. Judgement is subjective, I watched Osman play from the junior teams and he was a stand out, even in the FA Youth Cup winning team (look at his goal at Blackburn in the final).

He played lots of top flight games for a number of managers as well as earning international recognition, so others clearly support my view. There’s no right and wrong opinion here but calling him a ‘dreadful player’ is probably as near to wrong as you can get.

(Edit) - just checked. Osman’s first cap was against Sweden on 14.12.12. He was also called into the squad for the game against Brazil on 06.02.13 but was an unused substitute. He was called up for the third time on 14.03.13 for the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro, when he earned his 2nd cap.

I watched him play in that youth team, thought he was about 4 years younger than he actually was, but he clearly grasses his way through the ranks. I've seen you overly keen to slate far superior players, osman played like a coward and was part of the problem regards our glass ceiling situations, his comments outside of what happens in the pitch have been telling as well, odious character

..I clearly missed something. Always seemed a lovely lad from a lovely family to me.

Same here, someone tell me why he was a grass?

I've asked this question numerous times and no one can answer it officially, think people where throwing crap around at some point, and some stuck

only coherent response I have ever got was "he was moyes' favourite so was clearly grassing on everyone, how else did he always get in the team"

I asked too. No one really answered, so I decided to ape the other monkeys.

The filthy grassy grass.

This didn't endear me to Leon, nothing bad can be said about Tim Cahill in my opinion, and its not Osman's place to decide, sit back down lad.

From Leon Osmans Memoirs

It's the 33-year-old's comments on Tim Cahill that have been the biggest topic of conversation among supporters, though, with Osman describing his surprise when the Australian appeared on the pitch for the send-off of Moyes and Phil Neville in May last year.

Evertonians had been denied the opportunity to say goodbye to the Australian fan favourite before he signed for New York Red Bull the previous July but he flew in for the duo's guard of honour and joined them on the Goodison turf for the celebrations.

"Our manager who has been there for 11 years (came out on to the pitch after Phil Neville who was retiring)," Osman writes. "That should have been it but who comes on the pitch last? Tim Cahill! I just couldn't believe it. It was incredible.

"Tim should have declined the offer in my opinion. He'd been unbelievable for Everton, one of the best signings ever, but that was Nev and Moyesy's moment and not his."

Cahill deserved to come on the pitch... Moyes the SNAKE and Neville the ULTIMATE GRASS did not.

Cahill the only one deserved to be on the pitch. Imagine giving a guard of honour to a no mark manager jumping ship to the mancs. Laughable really.
