Another KONMAN unnecessary signing from Unt! waste of money yet again!

Joseph you have gone from building a team round him to a waste of money in a relatively short space of time. He's a quality player in a poor run of form, the same applies to 90% of anyone playing for us at the moment. He could do with being pulled from the firing line for a few games and eased back in.

He's a top class player, as are the vast majority of our players, unfortunately they"re all bang out of form and poorly managed. We need new additions for sure, but this squad is capable of so much more as it stands. We just need to get rid of the miserably negative, devisive get, who's job it is to fire them up, 't perform. He's crap.

One of many very good players in our squad who is playing well below par at the moment. On his day he knits our play together. At the moment he is not even a shadow of that player though.

Every player goes through bad patches. But when the bad patch is as extended as this, to continue to pick them week in week out is folly.

He also looks like he's downed tools too.

Let your witch hunt continue - I did state today he started well - then his injury lay off has somehow made him unselectable!
But our crap manager lately refuses to drop him much or refuse to sub him !
In hindsight an unnecessary expensive buy the start of what was to come from Konman!

Regardless if he's a quality player or not he's been absolitely bloody dreadful all season and shouldn't be in with a sniff of starting games. There's about 5 players who simply aren't playing to an acceptable level yet he persists with them game after game. When players have played approx 10-13 games on the spin out of form, playing them continually isn't going to get it back. You have to take them out of the firing line and give someone else a chance

Basically out of who he keeps starting -

Baines needs dropping/resting
Jags/Williams is prefer Holgate given the slot due to pace so we could push up further
No doubt Martina will be bloody right back on Thursday when Kenny should be given the nod until Coleman is back
Davies HAS to be given a run in centre mid and I'm more than happy to give any of Besic, McCarthy or Klassen a game because Gueye and Morgan ( even more so ) simply haven't performed
Rest Rooney
Play DCL up top so we have a focal point
Drop Gylfi and put Vlasic there
Play 2 of Mirallas, Lookman or Lennon on the wings and give us some width ffs

At any given time we are playing approx 6/7 players either out of position of out of form and I'm sorry but you just can't win games or expect to get good performances when that many are under performing, you can carry 2 at the very most.

I thought he played well on the whole yesterday.

Made a lot of interceptions and tackles.

However, at fault for their goal.

Gana was abysmal.

Baines needs dropping/resting - who for? I agree - he's been poor - but we don't have an alternative.
Jags/Williams is prefer Holgate given the slot due to pace so we could push up further - Jagielka played well yesterday. Holgate not ready to play CB in a two - the game vs B'Mouth showed that.

Drop Gylfi and put Vlasic there - I think you'd see a lot better out of our record signing if he had a striker ahead of him
Play 2 of Mirallas, Lookman or Lennon on the wings and give us some width ffs - Lennon's injured. Lookman has a knock. Mirallas inconsistent. I agree with the principle though

Yes but what about with the ball, bearing in mind we have so much of it.

We know he can make interceptions. But what is our chief, ball playing CMer doing WITH the ball?

@BlueToff Regardless if Holgate made a mistake against Bournemouth he needs games there. Williams has probably just played about 10 games on the spin before being dropped where he's been well below the required standard so why can't Holgate be given a run at cb

Regarding left back, whether Garbutt gets brought in from the cold or he plays Holgate there like he did against Sunderland or gives Martina a game, he needs to bring Baines out for a game or 2 for a rest.

Mirallas is inconsistent Toff you are right but surely deserving of a chance when we've seen what little everyone else is offering.

Gylfi simply isn't showing anywhere near enough, when it's not going well go and get stuck in and get yourself into the game. I'm a massive fan and wanted him here btw but it's absolutely crippling us carrying these players who simply aren't putting in an acceptable level of performance
