Time for him to go

The draw and a point at Brighton had absolutely nothing to do with Koeman. It was solely down to a knobhead Spanish defender deciding to go in with his elbow, giving us a penalty. There may be some positive if we'd have actually played our way back in and scored in open play.
We never looked like scoring. He clearly needs to go. Anyone with half a brain will do for now.

Not sure I get your point mate. You say he's tactically useless and then say he's got to be given a chance. If he's that bad tactically, which he is btw, then he doesn't deserve to be here. His subs are getting less and less effective too imo. If he sorted the team out properly in the first place then there'd be no need for him to have to wangle things after half time.

I think the tactics are just a small part of the job, all things considered, and he clearly isn't bad at them, or useless, we can definitely play good football and line up flexibly under Koeman. However, it's the choice of tactics these last games, ever since the city game, that have all gone awry.

Part of me thinks that this has nothing to do with tactics, it's all about the weird squad and messy transfer window we have had to survive, making the midfielders unhappy and leaving us with an attack that's woefully bad.

I think there's a lot of truth in what you say. I will say this if ,as now seems inevitable, he is dismissed we need to ask questions as to our transfer dealings primarily why we were not able to supply our manager with the striker (or defender) our manager required. Walsh's head should be on the line for this as well. I like the idea of a DoF, but we need one who can do the job properly. Also why is Kenwright still here? More immediately why is he still involved in transfer dealings and what was his role in our attempts to sign a striker.?
Sadly it appears this club is still rotten from top to bottom and it is increasing obvious we will achieve absolutely nothing under the current set up.

He'll be gone within the next 10 days. He's already lost the fans and is clinging onto his job whilst we remain in the Europa league.

We'll lose Thursday, fans will rightly be fuming then a defeat Sunday will be the final nail in his coffin.

Brighton will be a difficult place to go for lots of teams. They are a decent unit. On a slight side point seeing Duffy today has solidified my belief we sold him too soon. He'd be great alongside Keane.

A draw is ok today so my thoughts roll on a bit. My belief was he needed to win at least 1 of the 4 games he had, it's now 1 from 3. I think if we don't beat Lyon that may be enough to turn me. That was the winnable game.

Would be very interesting the events of the failed attempts to getting in a striker in .walsh didnt sell lukaku before we had a replacement in and its not clear if walsh with koeman gave the board or whoever deals with negotiations on transfers a list of 3 or 4 strikers and they were unable for whatever reason to get any over the line

I really don't enjoy watching us or even want to watch us at the minute, it's a real grind watching 90 minutes of Everton and it has become embarrassing. He looks disinterested and just willingly carries on picking the same players who are not performing, I can't say he picks the same formation every game as he doesn't, which again is having an adverse effect.

I hate to say it but the longer he stays the tougher this season becomes and so for me personally I think he should go now, best for all concerned.

Shouldn't come down to individual games anymore, unless we managed to win 3 or 4 in a row, and who would part with their money to bet on that happening? Me neither.

We may well be out of the LC and EL as well as consigned to facing a bottom-half finish, at best, over the course of the next 3 games.

This has been going on since the tail end of last season, and the case for the prosecution is overwhelming. It's just absolute insipid, rubbish anti-football from game to game, regardless of the quality or otherwise of the opposition.

It has become endemic throughout the squad. Action must, and will be taken, but will, as its us, inevitably be delayed. This is very damaging, and there is no reason for it to continue.

I will welcome Unsworth to the job with open arms. He cannot, even if he willfully tried, produce a team that is any worse than it is now.

The thing is mate, if we can't go to Brighton and win then how can you expect us to go to any other club and win? Especially with some of the talent we do have at the club?

Which then generates the mentality that any away game is difficult, so any points gained are a bonus. Before we know it, we are dancing around to getting a point away to Chelsea and we have nothing to look forward to other than hoping for an easy run in the cup one year.

I get where you are coming from mate but games like today should be win at a minimum. There isn't any other way to look at it, and I'm sorry but the minute you start to look at it from that perspective you have, what's the point in caring? What's the point in the fans travelling down to Brighton for the game if any sort of attitude is 'well it's a tough place to travel to'.

It's this mentality that moyes integrated into the DNA of the club for so many years and the current owner is igniting again with his terrible comments. Sorry for being idealistic here but I just don't believe that anything other than a comfortable win is good enough for this club no matter how far we have fallen.

I think we need to realise that our squad is pretty bad. It was falling apart before Koeman joined and although we've spent a decent amount, a lot of players that we've brought in just aren't that great. Last season Rom made us look better than we were. Coleman is our best player, after that no one really stands out as being top class.

I'm not saying that a different manager couldn't get more out of them but I don't think Koeman should take all of the blame.

He’s got to go because he simply doesn’t care. I want a manager that is passionate about the job and hurts when we lose. Koeman just seems the type to shrug his shoulders and go off a golf course, safe in the knowledge that he’ll get a massive payoff if sacked.
