Good question from Arsenal fan (concerning Usmanov) and again....no one can give satisfying answer. It just doesnt make any sense. Strongly believe AU is coming.

It does make sense Finn, he has no say whatsoever. Kroenke is the majority shareholder. That fella assumes that because he owns X amount of shares it has weight, when in company law it doesn’t.

theres nothing to stop usmanov just transferring his arsenal shares to the 3rd partner of USM, so in essence retaining his shareholding within his company, but then ploughing money into us. he would legally be able to own us outright aslong as his name is off the Arsenal shares.

Thing is, he has no interest in us, so that's why he hasn't done such a manouver

Surely the FA would raise a serious concern with this

Wait til he meets Blue Bill;):)

I think there is definitely something strategic going on at Arsenal. I doubt that Usmanov will be content to sit on his 30% share of the club and have as little say as any of us in how it is run.

If this has any impact on Everton remains to be seen. It is not an unreasonable suggestion to say he will follow Moshiri to Everton and the new stadium and the opportunity to make even more money out of the docklands development suggest there are good football and business reasons for him to do so.

But, he is already incredibly wealthy and may not have any interest in getting involved in any club other than Arsenal.

I think the real question is the nature of the relationship between Usmanov and Moshiri.
