It seems that when centre backs fall out of form, it happens quickly...at least for us. Heitinga; MVP one season, history the next. Distin; one of the most feared CB's one season, not even in the squad the next. Williams is just the latest example...and Jags isn't far behind.

Watching a once quality player unravel in front of eyes is just plain depressing. The fact that we haven't got a quality replacement, is more so!

I watch NFL, and coaches and quarterbacks do it to stop lip readers employed by the opposition reading plays.. At least I think that's where this originates.

To be fair he's probably slagging us off to his mates. I guarantee that was at least what he was doing with Pogba when we let them score late on after the full time whistle went.

This is pretty much how I feel about the majority of our signings this season.

We signed a relegated goalkeeper, a bottom half defender, a RB who couldn't make the bench for a top half team... and find ourselves near the bottom of the table.

Hmmm.

Obviously this does not paint the full picture etc. But it is how it looks in plain sight.

Sorry it's taken so long to reply. I've been away from my pc and only had access via phone and can't post my favourite gif of Otamendi going into the tackle using my phone.

Strangely enough he does have his fanboys. The majority of City fans that I have spoken to think he's a liability, although tbf he has looked a lot better this season.
There is one particular poster on bluemoon, a yank, who will blind you with statistics and waffle to convince you that not only is he better than Stones, he's also as good as, if not better than a fully fit Vincent Kompany.
