..I didn’t know that. The interview I saw with Moshiri was after the window closed and he said he was very surprised Barkley had walked out of talks with Chelsea after the clubs had agreed a deal.

It was the same interview mate but he was saying that we had enough players to play in his position and would not be getting picked I pretty sure it was just before the window closed mate.

Perhaps they wanted the extra cash to push the Costa deal over the line or someone else. Thing is Barkley wasn't hiding the fact he wanted out and the club wanted a good price, january and beyond that price drops down to zero. It really isn't rocket science.
