"better".
Well yeah. Because his form was starting to become farcical.
But what's his function? To dictate surely? To get the ball to a Striker who can hold and bring in Davies / Sig etc.
The problem we are currently having is, Schneiderlin isn't finding our Striker. So today, Rooney starts to come deeper to try and find it. On Thursday DCL become isolated and running after percentage balls down the channels.

Did Schneiderlin find feet more than previously? Yes.
Did he offer any sort of effective product with the ball? No. Zilch.

His pass stats again will be very good. The way he takes the ball and turns back towards our own goal and picks out one of our CB's with a stylish little 5 yard pass.

The amount of times (and not just today) he has players moving ahead of him and he slows us down and go backwards is cowardly.

I'm not saying he can't do it, but he's currently not doing it.
Spot on Ian.

He had players moving ahead of him?

Our players have been statues all season!

I think we are struggling because everyone hides from the ball.

Are you blaming everyone else for Schneiderlin's poor form?
He showed last season he's a good player. But everything he did well last season he now does very poorly.

Lads I know this may be an alien concept to elite peak performers like yourself but there's this little factor called "form" and what it means is that human beings are subject to fluctuations in performance because of it.

What it doesn't mean is that their entire prior career doesn't count if they are not playing as good as they have been due to form.

You've seen that our boy Morgan is a sensational midfielder so should be prepared to wait for his form to rise again, along with his performances.

He was extremely poor for 18 months at United though...

Actually thought he did well today, much improved and long may it continue.
