Or indeed drew 0-0. I've seen goalies be in the right position for a fluke, tiptoe backwards along the goal-line and tip the ball
over without falling over. It's a funny old game. Also, if you have a real goalie like Peter Smike, he'd have caught the 'fluke shot'
bowled it down the right wing to headless chicken Kanch, he'd have cut in and scored and Everton would be one up and gone on to
win 5-1. All that could happen with a real goalie.

That literally makes zero sense.

I think out of all the goals he will be disappointed in the 2nd one most of all. He has a knack of sometimes saving with a closed fist instead of an open hand which every now and then means the ball can bounce back into a dangerous area instead of away from goal which tends to happen with open hands.

I still absolutely love him though and not surprised to hear it could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for him.

Jordan was in the right position to anticipate an attack coming from the cross. He can't be in two positions at once.

Clearly by his position Young Jordan was expecting the cross, nothing he can do, it is what it is.

Looks like he has the potential - correct he will be busy this season with that defence which should be changed in areas!

Absolutely. We were on a spanking to nil if not for young JP. With better defenders in front of him (ie. when Seamus comes back and Williams gets swapped out) we will look a LOT better.

Stekkers done well tonight but that was making a change for the sake of it and its every game changing it by 5/6 players there's not going to be any cohesion with these players. I would have played both of them as Pickford has better distribution than that abomination of a defence

Plenty to have a go tonight and justifably so.

Stek did fine. I dont understand why the need to rotate keepers is necessary.

Even Jords wouldn't have made much difference with the [Poor language removed] that was defending his goal.
