He definitely won't get till Christmas if there are performances like that at home .I'm really not getting his vision or style of play .

Created a solid side with a top class striker and a midfielder capable of creating goals and running with the ball.

Lost both those players.

Replaced them with plodders or not at all.
 
Has to prove he can turn this around.

Tbf he has a very unbalanced squad to work with.

He may or may not have had something to do with that.
 

so frustrating to watch this team. still passing backwards all the time even when we have no pace. we started the game with 4 no10s and sandro was more of a second striker or played wide in a front 3 last season. all 4 want to occupy the same spaces.

Agree his so called stability was based squarely on the back of lukaku and Barkley. He's been found out now.
 
It doesn't take rocket science to see why buying so many no 10s was stupid. Just like jamming so many CMs was stupid. Like Mourinho he could have signed 3-4 players this summer fot good money but ensured he didn't lose the balance. But he had to go for so many no 10s and couldn't come up with 1 decent striker in two summers, couldn't find a good well established winger and a good back up LB.

Now he has no fit all these players he had a hard on for with no team balance. Plus he has unhappy players in Mirallas, Barkley and a striker in Niasse which if he brings back will be an embarrassment for him.

Rather than making points to the board, maybe he needs to look at himself and what his game plan is. A team that can't muster a shot on goal for 2 plus hours in the PL is bound to struggle in the bottom half.

At all these ultimatums. We've been beaten by two quality sides whilst trying to adapt to the fact we've brought in a load of players and lost two of our best performers. It's hardly a surprise.

Let's see how things shape up over the coming weeks in terms of tactics etc. Koeman is going absolutely nowhere anyway, save for us being in a relegation battle and that won't be happening any time soon. There's no one we could realistically replace him with anyway.

There's a lot of good, young, talented managers out there doing interesting things. Particularly in Germany. Most of them are miles from the British old school 'real football man' ethos though.

I still think we could prise Favre away from Nice though. The fact we could have had him for free but instead paid £6m for Koeman is still very amusing.
