..the fella is a good athlete in that he's a willing runner, is mobile, pacy, and strong. The problem is when he has to do any of that with a football at his feet. Instinctive rather than a thinker, I doubt he knows what he's doing so the opposition won't have much chance.

No one is saying Niasse is a "great player".

Quite the reverse.

It is just many of us feel he was not treated respectfully and as Evertonians stand for fair play if we stand for owt at all, we are hoping the outsider's outsider can give a good account of himself.

Also, Omar went out on loan, to a struggling team, and banged in a few goals......notably against Liverpool and Manchester United.

Lucas Levia was elevated to world class status in the eyes of the cultists as he sat on the sidelines doing nowt.

Actually not a bad comparison, but Bolasie gets away with a lot of his flaws as he plays deeper, so his headless chicken pace which has got him by starts from deeper and he isn't reliant on technique in the same way a striker is.

Bolasie is the better player overall though, and Bolasie is bad in his own right.
