I dont think there is much in this one to be honest, lets be honest how do journos know who Moyes was watching after breing linked with Witsel, Defour and the young striker as well could be any Standard player to be honest, also he was at both Standard Vs Hamburg matches in the Europa so it actually be a Hamburg player he was looking at.

What makes me suspicious is that if as LCAB says we have the portugese kid and Beckford - then why would we need another striker. Saha has signed a new contract and Moyes only last week said the Yak had a great future with us.

I think this is agent stiring, bigging up his player with any random manager in the stand.

Trochowski?? Witsel?

They're the only two I can think he could have been watching

Mbokani is probably the most gifted Standard Liege's player.(more than Defour or Witsel and much more than Jovanovic)

He played amazing games in Europe but don't care about the national league, that's why he haven't scored that much.

He will be a very good signing for Everton, no doubt about that.

Mbokani has a contract up to 2014, Witsel up to 2013 and I'm convinced Standard wont let them go for less than 8 million Euros. Personally I think Mbokani is made for the PL, has great close control, almost impossible to get off the ball, he is strong, pacy, very good in the air and he has good composure in front of goal. He was excellent as a lone striker for Standard in Europe, but for various reasons he hasn't showed much in the Belgian League this year, which could lower his price a bit.

I doubt it that he can make the step up to the Premier League. He's a good player for Liege, but guess that's about his level. Think he'd be a better option compared to Jovanovic though. Only two players from Liege I want would be Defour and Witsel.

Atta boy, Dutch. Defour would be brilliant but Moyes would have to outwoo Sir Alex who sent him a chocolate heart and kisses when got injured earlier this season. If Fellani was 15 million and appears at this point to have been a bargain, how much will Defour command?

really rated this Mbokani lad when I watched liege in europe similar to Drogba in his style of play and apparently he's banged in goals in belgium for the past couple of years he's only 24 as well.

More crap from O'Keeffe

He doesn't bother giving an explanation as to why we've missed out on this lad.

I'd like to think players would prefer to move to Everton over Fulham, no disrespect to them.

If we matched Fulham's offer and had a chat with the player surely he'd change his mind.

O'Keeffe cleverly avoids the money issue here, that's probably why.

Us matching an eight million pound offer. Hilarious.
