A bit like the goal Split scored in the second leg? And the Origi goal lost us the game?

Pickford had no chance with that, was going about 100mph. Robles moved out of the way of Origi's one..

Tbh I'm happy with him as number 2, but he's clearly not good enough to play regularly.

Yeah I am but its a problem he hasnt been.

Watching Pickford now for a full 90 minutes you can see why he is rated so highly, not just his showreal saves but his work when we are not under serious threat of conceding, keeping the box in order and communicating, way ahead of Joel but i would have no worries playing Joel in easier games just to keep him fresh, not even having him on the bench and playing Stek pre season ahead of him was nonsense.
He is an asset Koeman dosent seem to rate that we could of sold, but just like Niasse we have to make some kind of an effort to shop window these players and we havent.

Fair enough it's all about opinion, but for what he cost us (undisclosed but I doubt it was much) he's a very able number two.

For me Robles is a bang average goalie. He is bedevilled by poor positioning and very erratic decision making. That weird penalty v Burnley personifies him, I mean why? When he doesn't have time to think he can be a good shot stopper, but that's about it. Seems a nice lad and I wish him well, but hope I never have to watch him keeping goal for us again.
