The conspiracy theorist in me thinks maybe he thinks Koeman is going to walk after this fiasco and wants to stay :Blink:
Could be. Haha. Tell you what though, no striker coming in and/or left sided defender and Koeman is right to rage in my opinion. Whats getting me is, the lack of a sale of Ross appears to have impacted on our ability to bring a good striker in.

I myself was made up when Moshiri took over. Was a bit disappointed this time last year but always said he had until the end of this window. Started very well this window too. But he has around 2 hours to deliver us a striker. Lukaku has been gone for weeks!
 

Ross is one complex individual. Must be waiting for his preferred choice knowing rejecting Chelsea might drive down the price a bit.. who knows.
 
After everything I still hope he stays, and for the long term. Think this is a case of him being young, naive and easily (mis)led...
