Holy [Poor language removed]. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I’m so distressed right now I don’t know what to do. I didn’t mean to do that to my mom but I’m literally in shock from the lack of results today. I feel like I’m going to explode. Why the [Poor language removed] [Poor language removed] aren't we doing anything? This can’t be happening. I’m having a [Poor language removed] breakdown. I don’t want to believe that bill is so incompetent. I want a future to believe in. I wanted to land costa and fix this broken team. I cannot [Poor language removed] deal with this right now. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, I thought a striker would've been here by now???? This is so [Poor language removed].

It's funny how the same old people are defending this window that defended last window. Where we failed to sign our targets and went on a run of 1 win in about a dozen. Now I'm not saying well do as poorly this autumn, but the weaknesses are pretty evident and we are short of fit players for a European run. It's a mess again.

At least we had a 20+ season striker.

This time. Not so much

My round lads, help yourselves

I'll have the pink one in a straight glass!

Ha ha ha

We broke our transfer record for selling a player last summer. Destroyed it by almost doubling it. (Stones). We've broke that particular record this summer in Lukaku. Again almost doubling it. When Barkley goes, probably for 30million..... That'll be 3 of the highest fees received for players by our football club since Moshiri has been here, in 18 months. That cancels out the records you're chatting about.

Yep and lets sweep the incomings for players sold so far and potential and imminent sales of Barkley, McCarthy, Niasse, Mirallas under the rug. They don't exist.

But yeah he's spent 150million like.

Chatting wham though, aye.

But spending money doesn't work just on 'net spend'. As that disregards such a large part of how transfers work. Just listen to a podcast of Everton business matters or something similar to educate yourself on that.

We have spent, in total, £150m this summer.

We have brought in around £115m.

So no, it doesn't 'cancel out' any records.

All of those players who have left wanted to leave. We've got massive sums for them because we held out and made sure we got our asking price.

There's nothing to say we are budging on our valuation of Ross, or McCarthy is anywhere close to a move either. With Kev we'll see but the links suggest if he does go we're already very close to getting a replacement in.

And why are you complaining about selling Niasse?? ffs

We've made good money off players who contributed little to nothing last year. Why does it matter. The only player so far who has left who will be missed is Rom.

That is just common sense.

Consistency!

Costa is and was only going to go to Atletico.

We did talk with Giroud and looked like we were in good shape until after he scored the week one winner and changed his mind.

I think you are thinking Benteke being a shoe in is a bit off base. Crystal Palace are in a relegation battle and they just paid 32M for Benteke my guess is CP would ask for 50-60M for him. I do think he'd be a good fit but I don't think he is available at all.

About Costa, I meant we could have made an offer for a 6 month loan say 2-3 weeks ago. By now that could have been done and dusted.

About Giroud, mate this football, heads get turned and you never know what may happen. After that goal he scored, how many minutes did he get at Arsenal? Isn't this the opportunity to once again see if he'd be interested in? Why not again try and convince him how playing regular football with a team that is in EL as well help him and us both.

About Benteke, I'd say Swansea are a more relegation threatened team and even when we asked for Sigu they resisted but with our interest anf initial bid, his head got turned. We could have done the same with Benteke. Would he again wanna play relegation fight or play for a team challenging top 6 and in EL? His head could have been turned too.

Basically my point is, players might not wanna come or teams can resist but its on us to turn their heads or convince them cos we want them here. You can't just sit and politely ask teams if either he is available or if the players from the 1st minute wants to jump ship to Everton.
