Tbf I wanted Begovic to begin with. Happy that those in charge of the vault know better than me, however! Been excellent.

Begovic was a reasonable stop gap type shout. It's the Hart shouts that we're ridiculous. The lad always had a flap in him and was poor in Italy yet people wanted him over Pickford and were angry when we didn't get him.

I didn't want Pickford ... or rather... I wasn't sure about him and all the hype... but never and I mean never have I said I wanted hart... he's so bad I don't even know how people think he's worth 10m

Likewise. But, as long as he isn't missing more than 1 or 2 games. We've got 12 days before Spurs, so that helps.

Says the injury was done playing for us, didn't see anything v Chelsea so it can't be too serious.

But then again, this is Everton.

Hopefully enough to keep him out of the England games (though Southgate will probably still stick with Hart anyway) but not serious enough to keep him out of the Spurs game.

Chances are he'll have been feeling it since the Chelsea game but the club gave it a couple of days before deciding. Sad for him but absolutely vital he's healthy for Everton.
