yeah maybe, he'll get the level right, he's a natural talent that is a step ahead of many others around him so he'll still draw the fouls. Maybe I'm oldfashioned but i like it when a player gets clipped but stays on their feet and still comes away with the ball. Not the modern game I know

He's never really looked exceptional. Neat and tidy and potentially an excellent squad member but I don't place him in with the likes of Barkley in terms of quality.

He also strikes me as the type of player who needs the lads around him to be on song for him to be at his best. Also not sure where he fits in with Gueye and Schneiderlin in the teamm

Davies thrives when he has something to aim for. There is no Coleman, Barkley or Lukaku to feed. Lennon didn't come onto the pitch until he was taken off.

You're telling me you don't think Barkley has displayed quality in his career? I'm not denying he hasn't fulfilled his potential but the talent is up there with anything England has produced recently. Davies doesn't have that ceiling for me. I see him as more of an Osman/Mark Noble squad player.
