Agreed, but that's not what I'm talking about. It's the ability to move into space off the ball, roll a marker and give the simple pass, because it gives the side as a whole the chance to move 5-10 yards up the pitch.

Instead, we're hitting loose passes and Kante/Fabregas are picking them up unchallenged, because Sigurdsson and Rooney don't move into the same space.

It's the link up mainly. Our middle three are just water carriers, there's have ball players.

The front 2 minus Rooney aren't doing enough to help it out.
