Was very pleased when we signed him and I feel much more confident with him in net when the opposition are in and around the box than I have for years. Very assured for someone so young.

Not that I'm particularly bothered about the national side but he must have gone further up the pecking order without playing yesterday thanks to the goalkeeping performances on show in the Southampton vs. West Ham game.

Because Tim Howard likes to do the exact opposite of what you would expect him to do lol

To be fair to him it was a woeful back pass but like you I'd have slid in to block it, I think if he only handles it it's a yellow card. I remember Mignolet when he played for Sunderland doing it to us after a lobbed passback was going in.
 
Going to be some healthy competition in the England team with him and Butland on the scene battling for that #'1 shirt for the world cup onwards.

It's not a yellow card... it's an in direct free kick.. unless it's outside the box in which case it's a red

The more England international starters we have the more top players want to join us + young lads also + more supporters follow us.

I hope he and Keane are starters.
