Whether he meant offence or not TelFrandel, it's in extremely poor taste on an emotive issue.

Not really mate... people like you make mountains out of mole hills . He didn't mean offence and was trying to be nice . Fair enough his words could have been chosen a bit better but no need to go off on one. I'm sick of people being offended , does my head in. He tried to say something nice but got it wrong that's all.

What the living hell is this?!?

We did the right and proper thing well-treating a terminally ill child and we have been "rewarded" with a new goalkeeper?

Christ alive this is an absolutely abhorrent post. Think about what you're saying. At best this is play to the gantry social media tosh, at worst it has not the slightest speck of decency or perspective. Think about what you're posting ffs

I only meant that it's that it's always nice to see those that do the right thing have some good things happen to them.
You've got the wrong end of the stick and gone completely OTT

As I've said mate, poor taste on a very emotive issue for the sake of seeking popularity on an Everton forum.

I'll leave it there.

He's explained himself tho. He didn't mean it the way you are taking it. I'll leave it there.

Because he'd been pulled up on it.

*shrug* When on earth did we become 'Pat on the head FC', desperate to be liked by opposing fans? Players like Pickford are brought in for us to be winners, but we'd rather welcome ingratiating Sunderland fans who want to be one of the lads. It's like being at school, where the kid who is in Set 7 for maths and superglues his jumper and shirt together to make it easier to tuck into his pants runs up to you and says 'We've got the same lunchbox! We can be friends!' . It's Sunderland ffs, one of the worst teams of recent years and they voted Brexit despite the Nissan factory being one of their biggest employers. Are we that desperate to be liked that we will forgive such poor taste trite rubbish?

Orly lad!! Your losing it. No need to be like that. Just put the keyboard away for an hour or so and cool off. You're digging a bigger hole for yourself

You are an idiot. Sunderland may have had a poor side for quite some time now but I won't be patronised by a "twist on 21" merchant like you about my club. I'm proud to be a Sunderland fan
I say again, my comments were genuine. Most sensible people can see that

I will leave it there

You need to get a bit perspective in your life. You think it's not ok to be friendly with other fans and accuse others of acting like 6 year olds? Jesus wept.

It's not about being friendly with them though is it - it's about not being so desperate to be liked that you'll put up with any old rubbish just for a pat on the head.

@Alan Whittle is a fan of another club and he manages it without making distasteful remarks. He's sound and he supports Palace.
