He looked out of sync with the rest of the team and wasn't a great performance but I think he has a role to play this season. I am also not that worried about the yellow cards because he won't play enough for an accumulation to be an issue. With Barry gone I would sell McCarthy to Newcastle for 20-25 and with that buy Dedonker. Midfield sorted.

Love a MF who is not afraid of the professional foul, even the rash clatter at times. Could care less how many yellows he gets - Everton needs a bit of snarl in the MF; loads of skilled players, not many chompers.

Come on Mo.
Disagree with your comments on the professional foul, the professional foul should be a straight Red. All this [Poor language removed] about 'Taking one
for the team' should be a no-no. I believe that a committee should be to set up to assess these 'Cheat fouls' and further ban the offender,
should the foul be deemed result changing. Managers cause most of this! Oh yes, and so called supplorters.

Well, in that case, I'm glad I'm not a supplorter.

Maybe there should be a panel set up and the respective managers should submit their selections to them and outline their tactics.
The panel could then assess the abilities of both sides, they could make a decision on how each team's tactics would work out and then they could come up with the result. It would do away with all cheating and all that kicking the ball nonsense.

tbf should the offside have not been given (which he had no way of knowing) his yellow was a very tactical one in the vein of gaz baz; especially with the importance of an away goal

frankly I'd keep him; if he can put away his injury worries there's a serious b2b midfielder in there

Thanks for the facetious reply. I have always liked footballers like Hoddle & Beardsley and my postman, and have always hated
players like Paul Robinson (WBA etc.) Cattermole, Lucas Neill and their likes. It's nice winning, and even nicer winning fairly.
