The Croatian situation

Yeah, soz I don't travel all the way around Europe every week as I'm not a sheikh, but if I could I would.

You wouldn't last a second in Split, hope you don't go personally, for your sake more than anything.
So normal people cant go to an away game to watch their team for fear of being beaten up. Pathetic.

Ban them all. Collective punishment, just like the English teams got.

Horrible, racist, bigoted clubs anyway.

Why not, all English teams were banned for 10yrs for the action's of a few pillocks.
That action was wrong too - and uefa wouldn't do the same today because it would be financially idiotic. Also because it's not right! It's the action of the clueless in charge. Were you ever in a class where everyone was punished because two or three kids were being picks, and the teacher was weak? It just breeds resentment in the majority.

Has to be a wind uplollol

10/10 for effort, you've got a few bites here
FFS! Found me out. lol

No, really, the only thing I don't agree with here is the "right wing" claim, but overall - a pretty stupid thing to do, considering the situation. There's been issues before but usually nothing this bad tbh - a few smoke/pyros and them being rowdy but nothing extremely horrible, i.e. punches and stuff. Don't know why fans can't be more like that if they want to be rowdy, Eastern Europeans just have a fantastically wrong mindset about these things.

Blessed we are that we don't have the same "fight or fight" mindset - Levski fans went to Split (and Croats - to Sofia) and it was definitely not pretty. And FWIW @bizzaro , you absolute mongrel, I live abar 10m from the Levski stadium and was gonna go to that game (Levski - Hajduk) in the previous round but didn't for the same reasons we saw last night and in the end it was utter garbage, both for fans and football.

Was well after the goal I thought, might be wrong though.

I remember our crowd getting loud, just singing Everton, Everton... and then they went mental. The speed at which they all moved it looked like they got a signal off one of them cheerleaders or something. Almost looked pre-planned.
They're militant over there. I was at the last Euros when the Russian fans kicked off and they were like a well drilled army

Yeah, ban one of the most successful Croat clubs with massive heritage and history based on the fact they have passionate fans.
Passionate?! Lol what BS, those whoppers weren't even interested in watching the match ffs. They were more focused on their attention seeking knuckledragging nonsense. Some of us go to the match to watch the football not to spend the whole time being attention seeking morons looking for a fight. If we're supposed to feel envious of their "support" then I for one certainly don't.

See above fren.

FFS the Croats could have invaded the pitch and got at the Park End if they really wanted to. It was just gesturing from the moob gang fearing they could have took a few slaps if they encroached further. It was just a boxers weigh in stand off.....no intention no guts just a gesture to make themselves look tough.

That what happened , nothing really bit of a surge , throwing things and a dozen or so div's on the pitch that thought better of doing anything when they realised they could if they wanted actually get at the park end , and one Everton fan made an effort to get on to them , all disappeared back were they came from.
Said last night in the match thread , I was taking to one of there journalist , who said we provoked them, she was by the way in the press gallery on the other side of the ground by the way while this was going on.
They just don't get it time has moved on here, fact is it's a different era, for us act like that here people think your a knob, and you will get caught , even buying a ticket they have your seat number, and contact details and CTV all over the place, same as town , hence no Everton fans going looking for them if they were remotely bothered to , because the odds are your door will get burst by the coppers and you will do time a few weeks later.
Simple fact if you want to really have a fight with English hooligans these days coming in a crew , all dressed the same insint the way to go about it, the cops are not daft or blind.
In a nutshell they come here parade around act like extras off a Danny dyer film and think they have a result, very brave as they will never be more than a few feet away from the cops , and miles away from actually meeting any English hooligans , they are a joke that why everyone by me in the park end were laughing at them.
Like I said in the other thread she said those going out there will have to be careful.
