C'mon goat, that's a bit harsh. I can't speak for all Yanks & I get that we in general have a tendancy to view our boys through yank-colored sunglasses. But I for one have certainly not come on here advocating davey pick up every yank w/ a pulse. Quite the opposite in fact. I work partly as an analyst, part of my job is to detach myself from bias or emotions, process large amounts of data, & form actionable conclusions based on what's available to me.

I felt landon would do well, & he did. I feel jozy has a lot of work to do, is by no means yak at this point in his career, but there's loads of potential there & don't take just my word for it.

Pellegrini, in my opinion, has proven to be one of the shrewdest evaluators & developers of talent in europe at villareal. And not a bad job to take barca to final day of season either, while we're at it. In many ways moyes' record has similarities. So let's not pretend as though the only ones who rate him or see potential are overzealous irrational americans on the interweb (although we certainly exist by the boatloads!).

It depends really, players of Altidore's style tend to peak at a later age so he could develop into a decent player in time. But there's nothing special there, at best he'll be a Emile Heskey type player, which is a decent Premier League striker. He doesn't have Yakubu's skillset or intelligence.

Victor Anichebe has more about him and he's not a special talent, far from it.

But I think 90% have said hes not good enough for Everton, that we can agree on surely?
