ON and OFF. Bad first challenge and still makes passes that either makes you think he has balls of steel and knows what hes doing, or he is an idiot for thinking they are more reward than risk. Still though Koeman needs to use him in a back three. He likes to drive the ball forward and our build up play looks more effective(or at least faster) when he is on the field. I watched the Community shield game alonside the Sevilla game and Besic could be as effective for us as Kolasinac were yesterday for Arsenal. Man those powerful drives Kolasinac made with the ball was a joy to see and Besic has shown he can do similar stuff.

EDIT: But... Besic aint a finished product yet.... I would love to see him getting loaned out so he gets first team experience. preferably in a team which plays a 5-3-2

Everyone knows I'm fan but to be honest I'm at the point where I'm close to giving up on him now. Not because he's done anything wrong per say, it's just how do you hold out hope on something that other people, including the manager himself, are rapidly losing faith in? There just doesn't look to be any room for him here in midfield and never in a million is he a realistic option at CB in a Premier League match.

Him being shipped out is probably best for all parties. Maybe a loan deal would be a good option? To become a top side you have to make harsh decisions and ruthlessly axe certain players. This looks to be the case here.

I'm still of the mind that I actually like him at CB but perhaps maybe just in certain situations/against certain teams initially. At the very least he's a decent backup/bench option.
