Someone posted this weeks ago. I expected we'd see most from the middle section. Never dreamed we'd have 4 outa 5 of Walsh's boys by the first day back in training. Amazing.
I know Klassen is RK's pick but it's clear SW is stamping his influence on the first team and building for the future with youth signings.
I wanted Monchi as our DOF and felt we should have paid his hefty release fee but with signings like Gana and Sandro SW is proving his eye for value and repaying his salary with interest.

That is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I forgot I made that...

I am truly ITK clearly

I'm not suggesting we wouldn't have signed these players without Steve Walsh's involvement, but when you see the news that mourinho is not happy at the lack of movement on the transfer front at united, I think it's clear you can see Walsh's impact on getting deals over the line.
For too long, Everton have dithered in the transfer market (often down to lack of finance) and lost out on potential targets or have resorted to scrambling around on the last day of the window trying to get deals over the line.
The efficient way, we have identified targets and got them signed has I think 'stolen a march' on our rivals, who will only see prices increase for their targets as the window goes on.

How do you quantify someone's success?

1. You've never met
2. Probably won't ever
3. Have no idea what he's employed to do, apart from what the press tell you

?????

Huh?

That post wasnt me having a dig, notice the date.

3rd July, the day we signed Michael Keane and also the date the media declared Sandro was a done deal.

i'm not sure i can handle this forum much longer. It's brilliantly run hence it's popularity, but deary effing me, the negativity in every single thread about every minute thing is making our fanbase look clueless.
Phil McNulty's 'meltdown' on twitter the other day was fully justified based on the reactions of a large section of Evertonians in recent weeks.

You're completely right, we're beginning to turn into them.

yep, he was so right. I mean, i think every other team's fans are exactly the same these days because of social media. A terrible tool for football. The utter struggles that people have to understand that a day in the world isn't over in 10 seconds like it is on football manager and thus you can get a transfer done in 20 minutes, is the worst part of it all.
