Sunderland afc

Player Valuation: £8m
Since our message board has become almost unbearable with the amount of moaning about everything and anything, and while I expect a tough season some of the stuff on there is getting beyond a joke . I thought I'd start our own thread here. Hope this is okay and we have 2 young Everton lads on the books.

After all it's like a little piece of Wearside has moved here over the last few months.

Anyway our relegation campaign, sorry promotion campaign starts tomorrow night live on sky v derby. Not expecting much and will be happy with a point. In truth I'm in the pub from 4.30 so will be happy to make the match.

Think you're going to find it hard mate as it certainly seems not everyone on the playing side is pulling in the same direction . That said you've got an experienced manager who should get a tune out of some of them but the squad frankly looks poor fella .

It'll be interesting to get a look at you and then it'll certainly be easier to judge , You have to hope it's one of those occasions rather than falling apart adversity can pull a team together.

Well considering some have already turned on Grayson after the Celtic defeat. Anything other than 8-0 win on Friday and I think they'll be calling for his head :hayee:

It's going to be a very long and hard season. I'll be over the moon with top 10 and flirting around the playoffs.

It looks an absolute mess up there at the moment, reading some of the SMB,it seemed like Moist was held responsible for the decline with plenty saying the team should have stayed up as it wasnt the worse,I know the loss of Defoe and Pickford doesnt help but finding some one to score 15+ goals in that division shouldnt be too difficult,I have to say I havent watched more than the goal highlights from the championship but the horse punchers had a pretty easy escape from there and that squad looks dire

So you're also nicking our mentality of turning on players and managers after 1 meaningless game.

My second team now basically.

Good luck. Don't know what to expect really, the Championship is a law unto itself.

Would rather SAFC went up than the majority of other teams in the division.

Might even pop along to the Wall v Mackem game. I'll be Switzerland.

Looks like you've got your work cut out tbh, especially with the ones Gibbo 'outed' (if true). Can you give us weekly updates and rate the Ex Blues?
Not having a go but, over the years where has all the Prem money gone? Is it all in the players carpark and/or spunked on transfer fees.

You lot deserve better
