Sorry but no. McCarthy has never shown anything like the one touch ability Klaassen demonstrated in the first half. Even against similar standard of opposition.

So you're saying a full fit in form McCarthy in his first season with us couldn't have made a few first touch passes against a couple of plumbers who were just excited to get on the plane and back to the ludicrously attractive women in their country...

Im saying he didn't.

There's still time to repent. But once the PL season starts, I'm afraid the Davy train will have left the station. And history will not look kindly on those stuck on the platform.

In which game did we play a bunch of part time professional plumbers with hot gfs and wives from easiern Europe mate?

We played worse teams and he's never showed it against them. Runs about a lot etc but Davy is a different Klaassen.

I see what you are doing here and it is not nice

It's a bit early yet isn't it to make a judgement on Klaassen? It will take him time to adjust to the english league. When he does though he will be a seriously effective performer for us. @Zatara You don't seem to rate him fair enough. But for someone who claims to have an up close knowledge of Ajax then you of all people should know that Klaassen was a crucial cog in the Ajax machine, and was one of their most important players these last few years.
Mark me down as confused.
