Should we recall De Silva?

I'm not suggesting he is the complete answer to our midfield, and can't say I've seen him play, but Barnsley fans seem to rate him, and they want to extend his contract another month - surely that is a good sign.

And given the absence of Cahill and Gravesen, is it time to give him a chance at Prem level? Isn't he supposed to be a strong, tough tackler also? - something we are severely lacking.

I can't watch P. Neville try to be a midfielder any longer!!:(
 

Aye, he's supposed to have a great touch and tough tackler aswell reading a few barnsley sites. They reckon they should get a bid together of 750k to buy him off us. :lol:

I reckon we should recall him. Just so those barnsley fans can stop dreaming about signing him permenantly.

He can't be much worse then what we have now....Barnsley are deadly serious about wanting to keep him.

Agree with this. If we haven't recalled him when they where out for weeks, I can't see us recalling him now.. Don't think it's a good idea to recall him either, so I'd prefer him to stay where he is and get experience of the english game and get match practise.
 
we should recall da silva, from all the friendlys i saw everything was good about him, he got some skill, good crossing, strength and tackle, only problem is his reaction time tbh...

weather we can fit him in i dont know, if definatly play him in one of teh cup games though

If you watched the firendlys you wouldve seen he was sone of the best players on thei mpitch in everyone except maybe the werder bremen friendly....even though he scored.
 
These teams were amatuer, he looks horrendous to me, and is just built up.

Looks like a goat.
