The fella's name on it - Adrian Kajumba - has never written anything of note, ever. If anything, it's as you say, he's doing it for Spurs' gain.

Sunderland held out last year over Kone. He signed a contract after the window shut. If we don't get an offer we can accept, I can see a similar situation developing.
Ross would be stuck with little or no first team football in a wc year. It may then be better for him to sign with us to get game time.
