Planning to be up for the Bournemouth game in Sept while Palace are at Citeh.

He is a lot younger than Giroud and for a while he was first choice for the Belgian national team in front of lukaku...but then went to the rs and stopped progressing whereas lukaku continue to progress at Everton. Perhaps he went to a big team too early in his career...maybe he needed another couple of seasons at villa. With sigurdson deliveries he could prove deadly for us...

Would love it if he came here and turned out to be better than Lukaku after all! (Unlikely I know).

If he scored 17 for Palace last year he could surely get 20+ for us. Can't really complain at that imo.

I rated him very highly at Villa.
The bitter gene kicked in whilst he was with the rats and I wanted him to fail, which it could be said he did.
The thing is, the more I think about it, why not?

I would not say I rate him in regards to his all round game. But I always think he will score when we play against him.
He is a nuisance and a useful 'Plan B' if plan A is not working. The RS probably could have done with him when they where getting schooled by the bottom half teams at home.

I would love to see him do that knee slap in front of the kop after scoring a winner for us. Hilarious when he scored a brace there last season for Palace

I think he would be a good buy, knows how to score can head a ball and his hold up play and first touch is better than Roms.. And he is only 26yrs old just coming to his prime and loves a goal against the s---e..

Me. I tend to judge players what I've seen with my own eyes, not based on a flashy you tube video that could make Benteke out to be as good as Drogba.
Benteke has always proved a handful whenever we've played them. Given the right service here, i think he will prove a handful and offer a real threat to other teams.

Be funny if we get him and VVD, on one side RAWK will want to laugh because we got someone they got rid of but at the same time we get one of there main targets, the fume would be priceless
