Coming to the conclusion that with Rooney in we can do without him and need to channel cash elsewhere: another CB and the FB positions need sorting desperately...especially LB.

I have a feeling this GK is going to find the going tough here, so we need a good understudy in because Stekeleneburg is appalling.

Not for me, goes missing in loads of games and doesn't have that productivity big Ronnie is keen on. Come to think of it he's just Kevin Mirallas with a poorer work rate and ponytail.

The more i think about, the more i think Forsberg is the one. If we have 40-50m to put down on Gylfi then dispatch Walshy to Germany with that money and a 6 figure contract. Make them say no.

...I think this is a fair point. I suppose the concern is the amount of game time Rooney will get (form, injuries, suspensions, fatigue etc). The other factor is what happens to Ross Barkley. I can't really think of anybody coming through to sit in that role, perhaps with the exception of Dowell who doesn't really look to be on Koeman's radar.

Completely agree! Plus he knocked us back last season so he can completely do one

totally agree, and convince Barkley to stay...sorted then!
