This, although I still fume a bit when I think of the things he's said when on international duty.A lot will depend upon how he speaks of Everton once he's officially gone.
If he shows some respect and humility for his time with us, he can probably expect some warm applause.
If he disses us and in any way disrespects the platform we provided him with, he can expect major league grief.
What will be even more interesting will be how he reacts were he to score at Goodison, he never celebrated scoring at the Hawthorns, if he celebrated at GP especially with some inane dance with Pogba, he might need a police escort to get off the pitch.
I can't be arsed booing or applauding him when he returns. But I expect he'll get grief off the majority.
What I do find amusing though is these types who are slagging him off for 'disrespecting' this club....then in the next breath pining for that Rooney to comeback and he disrespected the club many times over the years and kissed his beloved Manc badge at us many times too.
