I Dont hate the guy. Had many arguments with family and friends saying he is the best striker ive ever seen us have. He could have just gone about getting his move in a more respectfull manner.
I've never understood this booing of ex players that goes on, it's only done to players who are really good and as such booing marks them out as a "special" player - you don't boo the 3rd reserve goalkeeper when he returns, so it must boost the player who's booed. I would give him a polite clap , would be totally indifferent except I'd smile broadly if we beat them , he tripped over his feet a few times and was continually bested by Michael Keane . So I'd go for the " cheese on dead to me " option.
No one will ever call you a shin-less wonder...I've ordered 2 of those 6ft trampolines and will strap them to my shins and shout at him "hahaha you scored loads of goals for us and were the best striker a lot of young Evertonians have ever seen at the club, you earned a move to a bigger club and earn £200k a week and play in the Champions League and win trophies now, but we could have offered you less money and no trophies so why did you go? Booooooo, Judas, Scumbag."
