I just checked the stats : in the results table since Christmas day we're in a clear 3rd place, behind Man U and Chelsea. So it's been a great effort, and it's mouthwatering to think what we could do with Fellaini back, and with an on-form striker.

Whered you see that table?

Disappointed, especially since it wasn't all down to injury. We had our chances to press on in the final months, but failed each time. 2 points behind Liverpool and 3 behind Villa, how expensive Jag's injury time OG against them is looking now.

I feel the injuries were a huge part in the reason we did not finish where we should have. If we had a full squad I honestly feel our form would have been better throughout the season.

But, the lack of form we showed all season throughout was another massive factor that we just could not fulfil our potential which we showed that month we faced all the top teams and took points off them. But we then follow it up and draw a blank against teams lower down. Thats just not good enough.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this but I really think injuries played a real part in our poor start.

All credit to the players for the run they went on though.
