September last year this has been in motion since.

Compare and contrast: submission of the initial bid to develop Kings Dock (6 October 2000). Fans vote strongly in favour of a new stadium at Kings Dock (18 November 2000). Submission of detailed stadium proposals (17 January 2001).
Think they failed so why do you want the same process. Usual boring negativity from you. You need to get outside n get some fresh air. Taking overy every thread in here with the same tripe

It didn't fail because images were shown early on, it failed because the men you trust to get this BMD scheme through to completion ballsed up the finances.

Right, but maybe just maybe they are simply not ready to release any images and these two lads are speaking out of turn.

How about you relax take it easy and wait and see. Nothing is set in stone. I am not sure they are out to gazump you.

Bizarre this. By all accounts its going to get done, getting supported to hell from every quarter, it's a once in a generation opportunity, in a location where we want it, it'll get international exposure and we are bitchng whether there is a temporary structure to occasionally support other sports.

Grow up. Half on here don't even go the game. Opinions count, absolutely, but we have been hamstrung by indecision for nearly thirty years. Let the club get on with the job of rebuilding on and off the pitch whilst the product of football is attracting such attention and investment. If the end product isn't what you like, don't go the new ground if it means so much to you. I really don't care.

Liverpool is my city and I want the Commonwealth Games there, like I wanted us to be chosen as City of Culture. If the price of that is an Everton stadium as a centre piece, dressed up to host other athletes in their sport, I'm all for it. Not many on here are still complaining about baseball at Goodison are they? It'll be a proper football stadium when finished. I'll go, my lad will go, we'll have a stadium benefitting our stature and like Costner, build it and the rest will come. To be fair NEA about that, we have more than enough Evertonians now to do 60,000 each week.

If it's at the expense of the integrity of the stadium as an atmospheric and intimidating football ground?

Can you, or anyone else, point to an example where incorporating the possibility of a running track into a design does not compromise achieveing the maximim closeness to the pitch and maximum steepness of stands allowed by regulations?
Personally I cannot reconcile the two and if Meiss does achieve that it seems he'll be the first in the world.
First to have a purpose built stadium
First to have undersoil heating
First to have floodlights
