Again though can we not just wait and see? We are being told that the complete opposite to what people are worrying about is going to happen, but yet some are deciding to believe it without actually seeing any plans

I agree mate, it's not as if they would Lie to us just to keep us in our boxes and not question anything.

What/where is this?

The track/ground level is raised to the first concourse above the lower tier, I don't know how this would be done, but if it can be, the stadium can be built as a football stadium and the track is the add-on rather than the other way around... all good, no?

Sorry if already mentioned, 28 pages is too much reading for me on a Friday night.

Why? How long into the KD and DK projects did we see some sort of images? Not long that is for sure.

The mentality of some Evertonians is hard to take, tbh. I find the 'we have no right to know' attitude cringeworthy. It's embarrassing that some people think these 'kin idiots know wtf they're doing despite years of evidence to the contrary.

Usual nonsensical and patronising reply. I find your attitude beyond "cringeworthy".
Please don't bother responding if you've got nothing constructive to say.

Probably best in the main stadium thread, but my take on it is that a major commercial property investment house will provide the bulk via the council guarantee, in return for a stable rent/mortgage arrangement, with the club taking full ownership when that is paid off.

Like every major development really.

Mate, will we be own it or will it be on lease terms?

I don't think it was posted but this is what I've been talking about. Also the track and field doesn't need to be square above the pitch, you can move it to ensure one steep bank behind a goal.
All in all, this is not a big deal.
The CWG will be good for Liverpool and the region.
It will be good publicity for the club
It will set a build deadline so the whole process doesn't drag for years.
All in all, it's good news

Yeah, it's unreal to think they should release the designs on Davek's schedule. Unreal.
September last year this has been in motion since.

Compare and contrast: submission of the initial bid to develop Kings Dock (6 October 2000). Fans vote strongly in favour of a new stadium at Kings Dock (18 November 2000). Submission of detailed stadium proposals (17 January 2001).

So the Kings Dock should be our blueprint for a successful stadium development. That went very well as I remember.
How much nonsense can you get into one thread Dave?

It didn't fail because images were shown early on, it failed because the men you trust to get this BMD scheme through to completion ballsed up the finances.
