Summer Transfer Window 2017

You can get another 20+ goals striker with £75m that wants to play for Everton football club and doesn't chat wham every time he's on international duty.
Not sure about that, I hope you're right obviously, but with the odd exception (rat faced racist, Jamie Vardy springs to mind) most of the lids popping in 20+ goals a season were signed for big money and it's clear the big money type players don't fancy rocking up at Goodison (see last summer). I imagine we'll be aiming to spread the goals about a bit more. It's clearly the end of the line for Rom, and some of his soundbites on the subject are excruciating (others are on the money though), I just fear that replacing his goals is going to be a huge task.

Signing a 20+ striker is always tough, but if we signed someone like the Chelsea kid ( Batshuyai or however you spell it ) who could get us 15+, then Sandro gets us 12+, and let's say Klassen gets us 10+ and if we got someone else like Gylfi who gets us 10+ then already we can see the goals getting spread about. That's without the likes of Lookman and DCL who could weigh in with 4/5 each and the with a full season behind him i reckon Davies could get 5+

WRD on TEF saying we're in talks for a young defender called 'Sarr' (probably Marlang Sarr - an 18-yr-old (born in 1999 ffs!) from Nice.

Don't know anything about him.

*Waits patiently for @Zatara 's input

Malang Sarr would be exciting, Marian Sarr not so much. Neither played much men's football. Malang Sarr was a beast for Nice start of the season but was rightfully dropped after Christmas; had played too many games and was out of form. Talented lad though and left-footed. Can play LB as well.

If we were fishing around Nice though I'd like Boscagli.

....Monday's Newspaper round-up;

- the Mailonline says Sandro flew in for talks with Everton this weekend regarding a £5.2m move. The report was given credence by alleged mobile phone footage of Sandro at the Titanic Hotel. This was followed by a tweet from normally reliable Times journalist Paul Joyce who also reported the player was on Merseyside over the weekend and will make his decision today.

- The Times reports Everton will re-ignite their interest in Burnley defender Michael Keane in coming weeks. Man Utd have left the way open for the Toffeees following their acquisition of Victor Lindelof.

- ClubCall website suggests Swansea are bracing themselves for a bid from Everton for Gylfi Sigurdsson.

- De Telegraaf report Davy Klaassen is closing in on a dream £25m move to the Premier League with Everton. Footballoranje.com confirm the move is close. Italian outfit Tutto Mercato, however, say Everton are 3m Euro's short of Ajax's asking price, offering only 22m Euros.

- The Sunderland Echo says Everton are one of 4 clubs interested in young striker Joel Asoro.

- Italian journalist Emanuel Guilienelli says Conte has assured Lukaku he will be Chelsea's no1 striker if he moves to Chelsea.

- 4th Official again links Idrissa Gueye with a move to Chelsea.

- According to the Daily Mirror, West Brom are lining up a bid for Everton's James McCarthy.

- The People says Everton and West Brom are showing interest in young Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson.

Thanks @Eggs saves me loads of time sifting through dross.

Would it be pushing my luck to have a lunch time round up....and an evening one. Please.

...Malang Sarr was linked with Arsenal at the end of last year, so you would think it's him. CB who Captains French U18 side and has already played 27 times for Nice.

Them results I'd be over the moon with add Vardy and we could win the league, or maybe not but I can dream.

No evidence other than we are second favourites with the bookies....

But with the crazy prices about, £13m for Dusan Tadic (who Koeman signed before) is a steal! Surely this isn't true?

I believe it's a release fee for Tadic. It does seem a bit low though.

But according to pals who watch him regularly he's more hit and miss than our own (for now!) Barkley.

You reckon this will be a first team signing or a signing for the u23s?
Its another young lad to go with the Klassen & Sandro links despite Koeman stating he wanted to go for 26-29 year olds
