It isn't just about age. It is how many top level game miles are on the clock.

Rooney is 30 going on 40 due to starting at the top as a kid.

A striker can play roughly 10 - 15 years at the top level. Be that 16 - 31, or 25 - 35.

NEA about how much of a bell the bloke is, i'd have him if Lukaku went, bring him in and get a top top prospect alongside him like Dolberg, still give us north of 30m or so for other players we badly need

Think an effect is also how long they've been doing intensive first team training for as well, those ones that break through really young have more miles on the clock than just games played.

We need a striker who works hard, is unselfish and brings others in to play. Deeney, Gray, Rayne Wooney all fit the bill.
