Who is going to buy his pricey shares for Arsenal though. Reckon he would struggle to sell if the buyer doesn't have control of club.
This unfortunately. Unless he could sell them to thousands of fans or those who don't want control.

With the amount if money coming into the PL, surely someone will be happy to invest.

What I don't get is if you look at Arsenals profits, I think the most recent available is 2015 they made a profit of around £24 million. I know that has probably increased with tv revenues but they could easily be gobbled up in any new players contracts or purchases. So buying his shares just say based on 2015s figures would mean a potential return of about £8 million and that's even if his dividend was a guaranteed repersentirve figure of profit. 8 million per year on an investment of what about 300 million to buy Usmanovs 30% (given Usmanovs paid 146 million for Moshiris 15% stake) doesn't seem a lot to me.

Arsenal havnt paid a dividend for years.

Any investment in there is a buy and hold one, not an income generator.

Thanks for that mate, so forgive me for being naive but what's the point of owning 30% of shares? You don't own enough to do anything with the club or have any influence, you aren't getting paid and it's not like you're a fan who got bought a share by your wife when you turned 50 or somthing. I read that because of what the American fella owns he has to make an offer for every other share in due course. So is it just a waiting game hoping the clubs worth increases until he has to make a compulsory offer for your shares?

IIRC, he had built up his 30% over a number of years, but when the old major shareholders decided to sell up, they chose to sell to Kroenke, not Usnamov.
