I see. Well you're still not spending *too* much for what you're doing, especially if it's a brand new clutch.

What car is it mate? Mine is an old Fiat Bravo (Mk. I, 1997), but is really boss, despite it being Italian and small lol at least it's nippy and mileage around the "big city" here is fine like.
It's 54 plate Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.2 diesel. I've just been told it also needs a clutch master cylinder!

Nice car.

Was gonna say how did only one blow as they usually go together (most cases at least, I believe), but... Unlucky!

Hope it's up and running asap mate :)
They couldn't bleed the clutch and realised it needed a new master cylinder. At least I now have a complete new clutch, top to bottom. I knew I would need new front discs and pads soon so will have them replaced too. I have had five Cruisers in the last ten years, interspersed with various vans as I was also a self-employed courier. My first Cruiser was a new cabrio but later cars have been older, but, even though I know the usual things to look out for on them, I took a chance on this one as it had been used for towing. Unfortunately for me, whoever was doing the towing was a bit gung ho on the clutch and brakes!

But it has a fantastic engine and, after I have the lower suspension arms replaced when the MOT is due (July), I will have a car, fit for some serious blinging, that will probably outlast me!
