Sorry if it has been said already but what are the likely dates this starts for us? Do we start at the first qualifier with seventh secure? Does it change if we get 6th?

If we get 6th or united win the europa league and don't finish top 4 we go straight to the group stages is what I understand

I can't see us finishing 6th, but if we do, we're in group stage (unless Arsenal finish 7th, and win the cup).
It's going to be a nightmare logistically really.
IF we get drawn away first, which is always possible, we'll literally have a 7 day turnover.

As the draw gets made on the 14th July, but the second leg isn't played til the following Thursday, it's making a hard enough turnover ever harder, unless whoever we're playing are absolutely tonking someone like 6-0 from the first leg. Thankfully, if we're more fortunate to progress through that round we have a 2/3 week turnover.
Knowing our luck it will be somewhere unpronouncable in mid-Wales beginning with L.Where's it looking likely we're having a jaunt to then?lol

So am I correct in thinking we will be playing on the Sunday for the weekend of August 19/20.
Trying to book a couple of days away (Fri/Sat) without missing a home game, or worrying about getting back for a 3pm kick off on the Saturday.

Re travel and away dates I think someone needs to badger the club to verify if we have to switch any games because of the RS. Basically every round of the Europa - Qualifiers, Group and KO stage are being played on the Thursdays with CL games on the Tuesday/Wednesday. If the RS happen to play Wednesday home we might get our game shifted (which matters in the KO stages). The RS will, most likely, be seeded in QR4 if they finish 4th and that gives them a home game in the 2nd leg. Now it might be that the RS get to play Tuesday or 6pm Wednesday or UEFA don't bother but it's worth remembering we've been screwed over this before.

If they're in the CL we surely won't be affected. Their coefficient should be enough to see them seeded if they finish 4th
Should they get knocked out. Well only be affected in the knockouts if we're drawn at home at the same time as them!
UEFA, have lapsed their rules from the last couple of seasons, and I can envisage they'd not allow a football game to be played in the same city a day later, considering the Prem is allowed to play games on the same day now...
Yes, I guess they might finish 3rd (not 4th) in their group and drop into the Europa.. where they will obviously get loads of 2nd legs at home against teams with weak constitutions.
Man Utd winning the EL will not get 7th Group stages. So only way for us to get direct to groups would be finishing 6th.
The spot ENG lose would be which ever spot Man Utd had earned. If they finish 5th or 6th that would have been group stage, and that is what would be transferred to Czech cup winner.
