"Deulofeu" and "Hard-working" should never go into the same sentance with the exception of "isn't" being inbetween the two.

Emery didn't fancy him.
Luis Enrique didn't fancy him.
Roberto Martinez barely played him.
Ronald Koeman didn't fancy him.

And yet here he is, playing for AC Milan and reportedly being claimed back by Barcelona.

And he has just made his international debut for Spain.

He must be doing sommat right

As for us, you and I have seen what the lad is capable off and instead of every second bugger on this forum slagging him off, we should be raging that we have rarely got the best out of him.

Because when we did, every man, woman and child in Goodison Park were off their seats in anticipation any time the ball went near him.

Fetch him back and play him in a role that maximises his talent.....he is easily the most skilful player we have on the books.

And it will be a long time before we see another as skilful ;)

Unfortunately not good enough for this league, doesn't make him a bad footballer it just means it doesn't suit his style of play. Needs a lower tempo to do his stuff, wish him all the best.
