Has he actually said that or is newspapers talking more rubbish?
No, sources close to the player, according to Sky sources. So not much better when it comes to reliability but more reliable than most imo.....
The game vs Atletico just showed the great potential Chilwell has. The lad is however far from being finished article. My point is that he could become very good around Baines and under the guidance of Koeman.
I've just seen him in games do not a lot for Swansea. But then at other times he's literally kept them in games on his own.
And he was not particularly great at Spurs.
I'm just not 100% on him.
Saints fans down here reckon they will get him. But they're generally quite cretinous.
No.... Too late in the day . Always loved Defoe and wanted Everton to sign him back in the days that he was a Big Brother whore but those days are past !With all these foreign names being banded about, most of who I have rarely heard of, is it the daftest shout in the world to nab Defoe as the perfect back up, squad filling, reliable striker?
In the EL now after all.
Sunderland fire sale upcoming, pity none bar Pickford will fetch them any money.
Schneiderlin wasn't great at Man Utd, Gueye the same at Villa... It doesn't always work out for players at other clubs. But at the time Sigurdsson was at Spurs they weren't doing great and the likes of Eriksen and Lamela struggled but they soon came good. I'm sure if they'd of kept Sigurdsson he'd of turned it around also.
The thing with Sigurdsson is that even at a struggling Swansea, he's still done relatively well and been at the top of the assist charts along with the best players in our league and got good amounts of goals, plus he takes a mean set piece and all that would add something to us. Imo anyway...
We've meant to of scouted him a fair bit this season, but Juve are very interested in signing him and sending him back to Sampdoria on loan for a season to carry on getting games?!
I think he would walk onto that Monaco team as he can play in various positions, so there's that and the fact that Monaco are in the Champions League next season... but I guess we'll have to wait and see how things play out in the summer, would be awesome if we got him inIn hindsight that's true but the player himself as said he won't just go to a big team to be on the bench and a bit part player. He wants to go to a good club and play more regularly to keep up his progression and he's already agreed when asked that a club like us would be ideal for him so who knows, we may just have a chance of signing him?!

Gueye was brilliant at villa though, was just as good as kante at champions Leicester.
