He was shocking at the start of the season....top keeper though but seems to have stagnated as Leverkusen perform poorly

Mate they were not kids, they were experienced players bought for decent money. I agree however players do get hyped up just for coming through their academy. Muniesa is another one, currently can't get a game at Stoke.

I stand corrected on them two then. Just recognised the names for a good while and assumed they were academy who were back ups.

This is the third time weve been linked to him

So at the very least he's getting lots of caps for Spain's youth teams

He could well be a decent player then perhaps. I am in the same boat as others who have never heard of him so i hold no opinion on his ability. Personally i am more for signing young prospects so i wouldn't say no to him, same as the other fella at shalcke currently.

I also don't know anything much of cucurella just from youtube and google as we were linked before

the lad linked with us and Arsenal on a free. Begins with a K, never heard of him either but a 22 year old talked up lad is a good signing in my eyes.

We certainly have a punchers chance of VVD and/or Koulibaly. Either would make a big difference to the team on the field and would certainly help convince other targets that we are going places.

Tielemans would again be a FIFA esque dream signing for us but I suspect that would indicate that Ross is seeking pastures new.
