Computer games.

You should really get into one of these, they are pretty dense to start with, but worth the effort, and keep on being added to even now. I found watching some Let's Plays really helped with those, as the tutorials aren't great and watching other people will give you a much better idea of how to even go about playing. There's also a few people on here that play/have played them MP from time to time... ;)
I especially like Europa Universalis. Brilliant game. I spent ages playing it and still play it from time to time. Big fan of the diplomacy and politics part of the game. The expansions and the add-ons make it better.

I bought them because everyone was saying how good the are, i just seem to have gone off strategy sims at the moment but i still keep buying them lol

I have never been a fan of the Hitman series, well never really bothered with them and when I found out the latest one was episodic I put the thought of getting it way out of prospect. So when it was completed and on steam on sale, me being me and how frivolous I am with my money towards games, I took a punt just to try it.

What can I say, I absolutely love it and can't put it down, relegating ME:A to the to play later list. It's so stylish, gorgeous locations and loads of ways to complete each mission. It's a cool stealth game because you can disguise yourself and blend in, giving you time to plan and assess your targets.

I recommend it if you haven't tried it, get the full complete version though. 9/10 for me

It's a really well put together package, but I'm just so bad at Hitman is stops me from enjoying it to its fullest potential. I'm OK at stealth but I'm so bad at figuring out how to kill people that I end up either doing it in a really dull way or having to look online for tips. There was one moment I managed to organically and creatively kill someone (dropping a statue of a moose on their head) and it was supremely satisfying, but that was a rare occurrence.

I'd recommend most give it a go. I still really enjoyed it and the varied settings are a neat touch. I was just limited personally as I'm a good problem solver in more linear or more open world circumstances, but as this sits somewhere in between linear and true freedom of choice (i.e. there's lots of cool ways to kill someone, but they're all preordained), my brain came up a bit short!

It's taking me time to get anywhere on it, I get caught all the time but i'm pretty shocking normally at stealth and give up easy, for some reason though the relaxed nature of Hitman just seems to be to my taste. It's been a pleasant surprise.

Played all previous Hitman games on PC, and when that old garbage could no longer take it, I bought the new Hitman game (complete season) on Xbox. Have to say it's a disappointment. Not so much the game mechanics as the whole episodic structure. 5 bloody locations in one season, this is travesty. I know they try to make up for it with the additional content and contracts, as well as the versatile maps but it doesn't even come close to the environmental appeal of the previous games. You had the recurrent China Town motive which made an appearance even in Absolution, the dark/horror bits, the brutal backgrounds and all the mental characters that made the game what it is - recall the last mission in Blood Money with the 2 parties (Heaven/Hell) one in the underground and one at the top floor. Just wonderfully crafted altogether.

Hell, even the Texas ambient in Absolution had an overall better feel to it than what we got in the last one.
And let's be honest, anyone would take a finished game with 20 different missions than a multi-seasonal rip-off with 5 parts a piece.

Otherwise, the game is enjoyable and pretty well written, if you don't start playing it with the expectations of the previous games.

I still watch LPs of them both, and have been meaning to have another go recently, but am trying to get a good save on FM going atm, so will have to wait 'til after that, depending on if/when I get Civ6.

I've got CIV VI; it's good but I enjoy EU more. The pleasure I get from messing up history is unrivalled and they are quite thorough with their historic events.

I prefer starting with very small nations because of the challenge. My favourite game was with Flanders; at one side you have France who want to destroy you; on the other side you have the HRE which makes acquiring new territories quite a challenge so you have to be really spot on with your alliances etc. I tried to become a continental superpower but this was quite challenging. Eventually I moved a bit of my focus to colonization.

Getting stuck into PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. I never played DayZ or H1Z1 so pretty new to this battle royale setting but holy crap is this fun. You get put in a free-for-all of up to 100 players on an abandoned island, you search houses for guns, attachments, ammo, medkits. The playable area shrinks every couple of minutes forcing players to move closer.
The tension is what makes it. You have to be so alert if you want to survive. Listening for footsteps can give you the jump on someone and unless they've found body armour, you'll be able to take them out before they can react. The closest I've got to winning so far is 4th, died when trying to crawl across a road while shooting someone in the distance and someone else saw my muzzle flash.

Love the game, by far the greatest early access game I've played. Closest I've been to winning is 2nd place (in my second game ever during closed beta), although I don't think I killed more than one player that game, I just looted far away from where most people landed and stayed hidden throughout the game.
