Computer games.

Haven't played Zelda in YEARS so bought a Switch yesterday.

Lovely idea, wish there was more available for it atm but has potential.
I'm enjoying Zelda a ridiculous amount. Such a good game.

Agree it is a bit rubbish that there are so few games available but I think Zelda will have me busy for another few weeks and then Mario Kart comes out.

I played a bit of it but only really enjoyed the Squadron type modes flying about and stuff.

Severely lacked a single player story mode.
That's what I'm waiting for. I don't have the time to develop the skills to be competitive with teenagers but I still want to shoot loads of stormtroopers and clones.

55 quid?!? I got a disc copy for 42.

Worth every penny either way as it's over 100 hours long. And I'd recommend it highly. Best JRPG since well, persona 4. It takes a few hours to get going, but once it does so it doesn't stop. You start playing and then look at the clock and 8 hours have gone and you don't know what happened or how.

I can't imagine any fan of jrpgs, certainly old school ones, not liking it. Every Persona game has improved and polished the formula but as each is standalone there has never been a better time to get into the series. And don't just take my word for it. 94 on metacritic and I think the worst review is an 8.5/10?

Ok I got it...

Stylish as anything, fun to play but my GOD is it frustrating.

Without giving anything away I am about to go and do what I need to do on day 19... and at that moment it tells me I need to do something else which will take a day and its game over??? Seriously?

And if that cat tells me what to go to bed one more time....STOP TELLING ME WHAT I CAN AND CANT DO!

Other than that yeah...nice so far.

Witcher 3 Game of the Year edition (with both add-ons) on Deals With Gold (XB1) for £17.50 at the moment.

Decent deal that. Picked it up as I never played the DLC and fancy giving the main campaign another play through :)
I picked up the standard version last time it was on sale for £12.50. Wish I had have paid the extra fiver now as I just completed the main story and saw how good the DLC is for it. Just got the season pass thing for £11. Can't complain though as it's defo one of my favourite games ever. I love games where the little side quests are better than the main storyline.

You have to finish a palace before the deadline. If you don't you have messed up. Like that in every persona.

Basically as soon as you can do a palace, do it. Get as far as you can, hopefully to the point you leave the calling card, then leave. Come back after to do the boss fight then any days you have left you can chill. If you haven't left the calling card and you have 1 day left it's possible you've messed up and will need to reload a save.

As for Morgana, he's indeed annoying but after a little bit you get way more freedom. Didn't enjoy the first 5 or so hours that much myself. It's after the first palace when it opens up and hooks you.

Gets better and better as you play. Lots of different worlds which all look great. A good roster of characters who get fleshed out nicely as you spend time with them/do their missions, and good combat helped by the choice of abilities.

It starts slow but once you're off Eos and seeing the other worlds it gets much better I assure you.

For me, if the original trilogy were the Star Wars original movies, Andromeda is The Phantom Menace.

The worlds and environments are brilliant, but the story and characters just seem to pale in comparison. I've rounded out my crew and am on the ice planet now, so a little bit in. It has gotten better than the initial bit. Still not fond at all of space Sudoku, nor the elimination of the Paragon/Renegade interaction model. While I understand they didn't like the fact it sort of pigeonholed you, I do miss the ability to be an absolute [Poor language removed] to an NPC who deserves it.

And multiplayer is a nightmare.

I enjoyed it on ME3, 15-20 minute cycles of unrelenting violence is a nice form of digital therapy. Really enjoy with ME:A ... when it works. Up to 26 blue screens reported on my ps4 now. Twenty Six. And that's just me. I'd honestly say it's maybe 2 matches in 10 that go start to finish without me or someone else getting dumped. And these are runs going smoothly, so not a case of 1-2 players ragequitting, they just drop out. Presumably to their own blues.

It's a good game, but the problem is it's a Mass Effect game. NSNO or whatever.
