Ross Barkley

I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder. But no one can tell me this is the explosive talent that arrived on the scene three seasons ago. He's looking more and more ordinary by the game. I'm sure his Kms covered look great like, but he's basically fitting in with a lot of players around him that are 90% perspiration and 10% inspiration.

Barkley is better than that. Much better. And Im guessing the kid knows it.
Yep that ball in on Sunday was 'ordinary'

He's the the form of his life, pundits and fans agree.

We should buy better players then. It's as simple and as difficult as that.
A better player than Ross= big transfer fee and wages to match.

doesn't work like that. Pogba cost 90m and is probably on 200k a week. Tom Davies cost zilch and is probably on about 30k a week on his new deal.

ask a neutral supporter this season who they would rather have in their side and 99% of fans based on this seasons performances would say Davies.

It's about being clever, good scouting and a good academy also helps.

Serious oddball you.

It's getting to the point where he shouldn't be allowed to continue. He is selling the player for us, whilst fitting him in to his new club, whilst having a dig at Koeman. Then if he goes he'll hammer the club, despite fully expecting him to want out.

I guess the purposefully antagonist posts are allowed.

All based off Koeman saying the club are working on the deal and not one report yet that he wants out. Great stuff.

Without being pedantic, how do you know the mayor knows of these weekly digs. Today's response from Anderson was only via that tweet I saw with the snippet.
I actually work with a Charlton fan, who genuinely hates Mckenzie.
He caused that club grief once apparantly ?
Through his interest in him, i get snippets of Mckenzie's hatred for the city of Liverpool.
Please don't try and catch me out about reading the paper mate. Ta.

More than those determined to demean the club? One players critics is more annoying? Really?

i don't see posters determined to demean the club to be honest. a few wums pop up and are too obvious and get banned, thats all. we disagree on that anyhow. some very negative people yep. thats true

but fans criticising a good player just because he hasnt become the world beater he was hyped to be by fans/media annoys me when he is a lifelong blue playing and contributing well to the team.

That's the ideal and if we can actually make that work year after year, then great.
As I said before though, the league table normally follows the wage bill. So, at least until Walsh has the full background operation running as he wants it, we will need to splash some cash.
